I like the Eagle F1s, awesome tire, unbeatable for the rain. BFG g-force t/a is a good choice too... not as good a rain tire as the F1.

price range in stock size 245/45/17 is $200 or so. $270ish for 275/35/18.

B.F. Goodrich GForce KDW's are likely the best with high performance dry weather tread. GForce KDWS is a better all weather tire but has a more traditional tread pattern (not as cool looking). These are great all around performance tires for the street (i.e., wear, dry traction, rain, snow and comfortable ride). Yes, there are others that are more cool but likely not better than these. They are priced reasonably low when found at discount tire dealers.

Yeah, i agree with ya there.. I really like my Bfg kdws's For the money they're a pretty good tire... I was pullin 1.95-2.00 60 foots on them before i got my drag radials...(mostly in the 2.0-2.10 range though) and I realy dont have alot of experience with a ton of different tires but I know for a fact that they are WAY better than the stock goodyears! Well mabye not for fact but definatly IMO

I spend $86 or so for my Kumho Ecsta tires.. (or close to that)

Check out www.tirerack.com i would have never even thought about ordering tires online until i saw the price of the tires that they offer.

Shipping is fast also
