Its that time of year and I'm looking into get some good summer tires and new rims. This is what I'm thinking. 245/45-17 Sumitomo High Performance HTR Z II Tires up front and 275/40-17 out back, all on 17x9 Black Bullitts. What do you guys think?

Who cares about rotating tires...Get staggered wheels so u fill the rear wheelwells up. I would get either 17-9 & 17-10.5 with 265 up front & 315's out back. or 18-9 & 18-10 with 265, & 295 tires. Its a little more pricey to have staggered wheels, but it looks 100% better IMO...

Agree I don't care about rotating them. If the back ones go I just buy new rear tires. I want small up front and thats why I was going to stay with 245s but would 245s look ok on 17x9s?

BLAH city on the 245s on 9". My friend had some brand new BFGoodrich Comp TA's on his stock 8" rims, and when he bought 9" Black Bullitts and had them swapped over, they looked retarted. The rim protector couldn't even reach past the lip of the rim. I'd reccomend getting the 275s, because they fit right and look good, but do track a little bit. When I dropped my car with JUST springs, it was tramlining like noone's business. If you drop with 275s up front, get offset rack bushings, x2 balljoints, steeda bumpsteer kit, and caster/camber plates with an alignment.
