I really don't see where you are getting rice from that. I think its a great idea. People would love that if you entered a burn out contest and all of a sudden you blinding everyone with red. I have to disagree with you and say its a great idea and would try it out myself.

It was BFGoodrich, they were called Scorcher T/A's.

Just watched the video, the red tire smoke is iffy but blue smoke wouldnt be bad, as long as it's a regular looking tire. It would be interesting, maybe more V8 guys will get them before the ricers get them and they become associated with rice.

Yeah good point ^^ whatever 'society' grabs em first decides it really.. I think they're kinda cool so long as the tires look normal and perform well.. I'm a bit partial to white smoke myself though

White smoke is cool and all but who wants to look like they have a blown head gasket everytime they do a burnout?

Seriously though, nothing wrong with regular smoke, this colored smoke is interesting, dunno why, it just is.

The scortcher TA's were NOT meant to make different colored smoke, nor do I think they even do. The did in fact have a few different colored stripes in the tread, but it was purely cosmetic and not for colored smoke.

I'd own a set if they smoked yellow just for taking some burnout pics!

I remember seeing them a few years ago and I wondered how long the colored strip would last. It was too trendy for me, I'd hate to have out of style tires on my car. I'll stick with black walls/tread and white smoke.

The scorcher TA's weren't meant to blow colored smoke, but apparently the colors would show up in your pavement scars...that was the big thing I heard...

Oh, and by the way, man I love those things, I think it'd look awesome on a red car, but only if the tires are BLACK AND BLACK ONLY in original color.....
