The BFG DR will hook better but won't last as long. The Nitto will last longer. I use that for my daily driver. If you want a drag radial, consider the Nitto 555 DR, not the 555 EP. They you'll compare DR to DR.

i have the bridgstone s02 on my car now and need to replace the back 2 tires im looking for it to hook good but its a daily driver so thats more important what tire should i go with? is there another one i didnt list thats good for daily driver and hooks?

Depends on how much track time you plan to do, and how bad you want to hook. If you are just a casual track guy, meaning maybe once a month and only for the fun of it, I'd go with the Nitto 555 street tires. If you hit the track often, or you really want to work on your ETs, then get the drag radials. Keep in mind, most DRs will not last as long as street tires but you're still looking at 9-12 months of use roughly. More if you are easy on them. If you can afford new DRs every 1-1.5 years, go with DRs. They are fun. A buddy of mine uses them on his daily driver. If you're on a tight budget and can't do new tires that often, stay away from DRs.

In short, a lot of it depends on what you want and what you can afford.

thanks for the info... i actually have only been to the track once in like 6 months havnt really had time... i work at ford so i get tires at whole sale prices so i figure if im paying less i might as well get a good set right.. how long will the street tires last the nitto ones?

Once in six months? I'd say go with the Nitto 555 Extreme Performance (street tires). Drag radials are stickier but only on dry ground. The 555 EPs are already a little slick on wet roads. DRs are worse. The 555 EPs will still hook on a good track. I can't say much about longevity. It depends on your driving habits. If you get tires at wholesale prices, then who cares? Run them and have fun with them.

PS. Hook me up with some tires too. Hehheeee

lol yeah what tires would be better for wet roads? its been raining alot her in sac and i just got into an accident cause of the rain so i want the best traction for the rain.. without sacrificing dry performance... i read the gforce ta is rated 10 on wet conditions but i didnt see what the nittos were... im thinking nittos but they also dont have them in 295 yeah lol...
