I hate deer. I cant wait to get this brush guard on my dodge and I'm gonna take out every one I get a chance to.

my ride to work includes about a mile long stretch of secluded dirt road. so its fairly unusual to not see at least one deer on the way to work. last night I came accross 3 separate bucks all standing in the middle of the road and I actually had to beep at one to make it get out of the way.

tonight I passed by one in the same spot as last night. then a little further along doe crossed my path and I slowed almost to a stop to avoid it. I thought to myself "ok now wheres the buck thats chasing it" and BAM!! right into my driver door of my explorer. the mother f'er lowered his head and just slammed me! WTF! door and fender and mirror all smashed good. I'd put up some pics but its dark and all I got is my cell cam.

watch out guys. tis the season.

dude i hate deer and think they need to be extinct. i mean what purpose do they serve besides smashing our cars up.its not a sport and who ever thinks it is is gay. i can go out and buy some damn meant for far less than a lisence gun and ammo and all the other **** it takes to kiill a deer. i think im gonna get my hunting lisence just to go out and kill as many deer as possible and just leave em there to rot. i live in a densely deer populated area too and i even had one jump OVER the hood of my car last year it was crazy so yeah screw deer.

well YOU did say that anyone that thinks its a sport is gay, i think its a sport but i guess it depends on where you are hunting. Where I hunt it takes you all season of hard-hunting to get a deer, its not like you walk out into an open road see a bunch of deer and pick and choose which one you will shoot, I actually work my ass off when i hunt, usually hiking 5+ miles a day to hopefully get a shot at a nice buck...don't bash it until you try it yourself because its not as easy as it sounds...

The only way you would ever catch me hunting is if it was legal to go with fully automatic weapons and grenades.

yes, deer are a big problem. I can't get myself to shoot one anymore, gave up deer hunting, but that's a personal decision. At the same time, they absolutely do need to be controlled at a reasonable population in some parts. We counted 11 dead deer on the road in a 18 mile stretch of highway 46 one night.

you would be in heaven here. its a rare night that I don't see at least one. last night, I saw 1 one the way in, and crossed paths with 4 while out on patrol, not including the 3 that were bedding down where I turned around.

the thing that kills me is these deer are unlike anywhere else. there is no fear of humans at all. they just look at us as we go by. even when we are on foot sometimes we are within 20 yards or so before they start to casually walk away from us. I'm fairly certain the only reason I got hit was because I was between him and his doe.

yea i think its different up there because less people hunt. Deer get accustomed to not being threatened and get pretty tame, sounds like the local goverment needs to issue some deer tags...

a deer ran into my GT (yes, i did not hit it, it hit me) 2 months after i bought it. fortunately it just warped the passenger's door skin and did not damage the paint.

its been 4 years since that accident.....still havent gotten around to replacing it.

i consider me and my car lucky.
