Well its in, and it works. Its a nice tranny. I gotta get used to the new shifter feel, but its nice and quiet and is reletivly stockish. The shifts are even shorter than my Tri-ax T5 i think. Its more notchy but seems to get better each time i drive it. My speedo is reading a little fast i think, anyone know what speedo gear for 3.73 gears i need for a TKO-500? I have a black one 10 tooth i believe.

How quiet is yours?Mine seems to have a little bit of a whine at low speeds.

sorry to kinda jack tread but i see bdawk your from old bridge nj im from monroe right next to you....
i usta work at 516 sunnoco. lol and vespia good year in east brunswick on 18,firestone in themall parking lot too lol

Nice to see its in and working! If its anything like my tremec tko, you need the red 21t speedo gear. My tko is noisey. What clutch did you go with?

Mine seems pretty damn silent so far. but my exhaust is pretty freakin loud so that could cover it up.

I go to that sunnoco all the time...I hate Vespias...bad exp. with the one on rte 9 in old bridge..I live off englishtown rd not to far from Laroccas.

MY TKO IS NOISY TO!!!!I'm using the king cobra clutch maybe thats it? Yes I broke it in correctly!

I have a Spec Stage 1 clutch on here right now, maybe it wil get louder as it breaks in, i only have like 60 miles on it so far. It seems stout though. Ok so with 3.73s i might need a red 21t speedo gear, thanks for the heads up ill look into that.

Oh yeah i am, its good to have it back. Now i just needmoney for freakin gas. Its like 2.80 a gallon here for premium.

Thats what it is here too for 93. Costs me $36 per fill up woohooo

Man thats really high for a little push o leen

It's about 2.45 for a gallon of the good stuff here in Texas

I'm glad my Stang is not my dd
