TKO 500 upgrade to 26 spline input shaft?

I've got a line on a shaft with roller bearings and steel bearing retainer. I know the 10 spline shaft is 1 1/16 and the 26 spline is 1 1/8 but not sure if all the additional parts are size specific. Can the parts from a 10 spline input shaft be used when upgrading to a 26 spline shaft? TIA, Dan

Yes but you are going to need a new shim kit. I thought the 500's already came with 26 spline inputs seeing as the 10 splines like to snap around 400 hp?

I just went over 400 Rwhp with the upgraded supercharger. I was gettin ready to change the clutch so figured I would look into changing the shaft before I spent the money on the clutch. I've got a TCET 4615 (10 spline) and getting a shaft from a TCET 5201 (26 spline). Know any places I can get a shim kit? Are they generic, something I can get from the autoparts store or do I have to get specific for TKO?

Give Hanlon a call, bought everything I ever needed for my 5 speed from them, including the 26 spline input shaft and shim kit.
