To Cam or Not to Cam

And with the 1.7rr and the b cam can I still use the stock pushrods? Do I need anything else for the swap besides

arp head studs
felpro head, intake, water pump, exhaust gaskets
thread sealant
anti-seize
?

I don't need new lifters or anything to change from the stock cam do I?

But it looks like you made up your mind. Out of all the cams out there why on earth would you choose a B303 cam. If all you wanted was 400rwhp at most you shoulda just left everything stock and threw a turbo setup on it.

well i decided for now that turbos are too far down the line to worry about. Funds won't be coming in good enough for a while either, I have student loans and such so I'm just going to go with a mild combo for the time being. I figure I'll do everything the right way when I can afford to do it, including a better tranny, better block and maybe push the horsepower limit more like over 500 when I get the chance to. I'm never happy with everything I do to the car anyways, so why not just be patient and build it all up the way I want at the same time? But in the meantime I gotta have something
