Will there be any handling difference between these struts/shocks? I know the Bilsteins are known for the best ride, but is there any other major benefit? I'm still on the original struts & shocks, which are blown, so I figure anything will ride a thousand times better than what I have right now. Do the HP's ride decent with stock springs, or will they be over-damped? What about with a FMS B-spring or a Steeda Sport spring?
I know the Bilsteins are supposed to be great but it's just hard to justify spending $500 when the Tokico HP's are half the price. What would you guys pick, get the HPs and either subframe connectors or springs, or just get the Bilsteins? $500 is about the max I can budget for suspension for the rest of this year. How long are the HP's known to last in normal street driving?
