i have a 1994 cobra and the shocks are pretty bad. i need some help deciding what shocks to get. i have 94000 miles on it and really dont need all that adjustable stuff like the illumina and AGX. but are they really THAT much better than if i just get the hp from tokico or the GR-2 from kyb??? or would you guys recommend some defferent ones for me. i am trying to stay on the cheaper side for these so i can get my 3.90's installed. Thanks for any and all advice.

KY-B's are cheaper. I have replaced my OEM's with there products several times over 197,000 miles. There a fine replacement. Especially if you have to put mod money elsewhere.

I have had Tokicos and I liked them, but on my Stang I have Bilsteins and they are awsome The Bilsteins feel much tighter and aggressive. Just my 2 cents.

I would take the Tokico over the KYBs but I think Koni makes the best shock second to a coil over setup.

I have KYB's and I have ridden on a better shock, but they were more pricey. For the money they are a great shock. Worlds better than my busted OEM shocks.
