I think 12's are a bit over-rated, I miss my 10's. If I had it to do over again...

Epicenter is a lot cheaper way to do it, and more effective.

Kicker L7 is a good sub! Picks up real low beats. So in my case my spoiler rattles. So could I just stick Dynomat in my hatch underneath the spoiler and expect it to stop rattling?

No, but it would help. You'll still hear it, it'll just sound a bit muffled, like it's underwater. If it rattles, something's loose. The only way to fix a rattle is tighten it up, or turn up the volume and drown it out- which isn't always effective...

my friend had this problem.....it ended up being his spoiler and his actual hatch that was makin racket. We tightened the spoiler and the hatch and that seemed to fix it....

Depends which end is loose. Either the hinges at the top, or lower the striker at the latch. (or both ?)

Pretty sure the lower latch is the one that is loose. Tighten with hand tools?

Yeah. A ratchet, torx bit (sorry, dont remember what size) and a hammer and block or wood. Just loosen it up a bit, and whack it down a bit so the hatch has to be closed tighter to latch, and tighten it back up. You may also be able to screw out the bumpers at the corners to shim it out, but this may allow air and stuff inside if your hatch gasket is old. Remember also that your latch striker is supposed too have a plastic bushing on it- if it's gone, worn, cracked, etc it will be loose.
