Thanks guys.

Yea the plugs are a bitchh to get at with the DP there. Its only that one V band, and one more at the bottom and i can yank it out. The V bands are real nice, all exhaust pieces should use them IMO.

yo yellow1995Cobra, sweet ride man. just a quick few questions- where did you get that alternator-how much $$?
also- i am currently running that frpp 302 crate motor w. gt40x heads e-303 cam, 24lb injectors, tf track heat intake, 65mm frpp tb, mallory digital ignition, and pro m 80--- did you ever have problems with it running correctly? mine stalls if i stop quickly and i have idle surges. to come to a stop and not stall i have to keep the TB butterfly open a bit. did you have any problems like that? i have not done anything to the computer in my 1995 gts. any tips you could pass on to me would be a great help.
i am also from Hingham Ma and go to epping all of the time during the summer.
thanks

Yeah...............(sarcastic) where did YOU get that alternator?

HEHEHE..That is a chromer from alterstart on Ebay. Goes for $200, and it is 160A. Just put in alterstart as seller search or "chrome mustang alternator" and that item should come up.

LOOKS GOOD!

I noticed a lot of Thermotech heat wrap on the headers - did that come with the kit or was that your idea? It's not cheap, but I would have thought about having those pieces Jet-Hot coated instead. I ran Thermotech wrap on my 67 Camaro and the headers corroded beneth it for some reason.

Looks great. Go to Http://www.Turbohoses.com and get yourself some yellow or black couplers. Unless you like the blue ones. It should make some great power at any rate!

Thanks for all the responses guys.. Yea i will have video clips up soon, once its running and not raining!

fawcett - Yea RC led me onto the alt.. It was 200. I had the B cam with my gt40 crate motor. When i first put it in, it would stall all the time, every stop light! You need to get it tuned, or buy a tweecer. I got a tweecer, set the idle, and bingo, she idled perfect. Let us know when u goto the track..

Tmoss- The heat wrap isnt on the headers. the headers are coated, its just the cross over pipe, downpipe and the pipe with the turbo flange that are not coated. I put it on there, cause of the sparkplug wires, fuel lines, and raid hoses, and oil drain line. Just to be safe. Hopefully it will hold up. I would like to get the rest of it coated, but didnt have the money this winter, next winter for sure! I got the heat wrap off my friend for 20 bucks, so it wasnt too much money.

Striped5.0 - Yea ill deff let you all know when i go. We can all meet up one day, rio, onebad, you and ur club. I would like to get my C4 in before i run.. But i may see what the t5 can do.

1105 - Its not too big, only a sc61. People with similar combos are saying 2700-3k full boost with heads and cam. So we will see..

S/CBlack95GT - thanks for that link!! That is exactly what i need - yellow couplers.

OOOO BABBYYYY, she started up!! Purs real nice!! When i get the rpms to around 2500-3k the turbo whistles realll nice, man i love that sound!! Im running just the downpipe right now, and its loud, but not too loud. I guess the turbo acts like a muffler to a point. Im gonna cruise around just DP and see how it is, then put that race muffler on.

I still have some issues though, somehow my stock radiator got a huge hole in it since the fall. I had it laying around the garage and it must have gotta punctured. So i cant drive it , just let it idle, being careful it does not get warm. I guess im gonna hafta get a fluidyne asap.

Also, my belt kept flying off, either the harmonic balancer is in too far, or the tensioner pulley is sticking out to far. hard to tell, but the belt keeps riding on the crank pulley, then it would fly off the tensioner.

All in all, im just happy it started and runs! Im gonna toss the fenders back on tomorrow and all that junk, and try to get the fluidyne on monday, if my local speed shop has one, they might

Awesome Jesse. I may be coming up to the FFW event in August and satying with Onebad, if I do I'd LOVE to see and hear the car. I want a turbo setup so bad, and someday I will have one, but it will be a while and be on my '90, not my '95. I'm freaking drooling over here!!!

yellow1995Cobra- so far i have gone 13.6 103.6 on street tires- i have a 5-speed which helps, but i also have 3:08's out back- my 60ft times suck. i cant get them below a 2.anything.

as long as i dont break anything i will be at epping every weekend, especially for FFW. that is the best time of my summer with my car.

i am planning on some more mods, the only reason i bought that FRPP crate motor was because my car got stolen from my college and the kids blew my stock engine up. i didnt have enough money at the time for a short b-heads/intake/injectors.....

i am saving up for a suspension components at the moment possibly a full grigs kit(i feel that going all out is totally worth the many hours of work required to pay for it) so i will have to settle for the power i have on tap for awhile. is a tweecer worth the money or should i save up and get a F.A.S.T. or PMS system?
