Well finally made it to the dragstrip with my newly acquired 95 Cobra. Mods are in my sig.

I found out that Nitto 315's, even at 18psi, wont be able to hook like I need em too. The combination of the tremec 3550, mcleod street twin clutch, and detroit locker rear end was a new experience for me. The tranny is alot harder to speed shift than the T5 in my 94 GT, and it was very difficult to slip the clutch at all off the line.

My best 60' was like 1.93, and the average was like 2.00. I would either bog it, and if I tried to launch it hard it would spin & hop.

I tried adjusting the maf settings in the tweecer to lean it out a little bit (its running so rich that it burns my eyes if i adjust the tire pressure on the back with it running), but it didnt seem to affect my mph at all. I need to learn it better and double check that the changes i wanted to make actually went through.

Anyways enough excuses, here's my best slip of the day:

RT.. .749 (shutup, i had a best of .516 today) :)
60'... 2.004
1/8ET... 8.606
1/8MPH... 83.31
1000'ET... 11.121
1000MPH... 97.36
1/4ET... 13.263
1/4MPH... 105.11

Like I said, with a actual good 60' of like 1.7 or so it should run in the 12.7-12.8 range, and if i can figure out the tune a little bit better maybe pick up a couple mph.

Remember guys, this was my first time with this car, and i def can improve on my shifting. Just gotta get used to the beastly clutch & tranny. :nice:

edit: its also a blower cam and 8.5:1 compression, so its not the typical NA build.

that combo should yield in the mid to upper 300's tuned correctly. i would be looking for 115mph+ with it.
its set up for a blower though, so he's loosing a good bit of hp because of the reduced compression...fwiw, last week my buddy ran his 90 lx 347 for the first time...afr 185's, lunati mildish cam, eddy perf 2 intake, etc etc...he ran 12.6@114 with a 2.11 60' on 245 nitto drags...for what youve got, and since it was ur first time, i'd say ur getting there...but 'd expect the mph to be closer to 110-112...good luck next time out! and get some pics up with the TTII's on!

I would not try and adj. your A/F by the maftransfer unless your not getting your commanded (in the tables) to mach up from a wideband, and that would be do to a maftransfer needing to be dialed in.

If your needing to lean or fatten up the A/F, (guessing at WOT) you will need a W/B as the K's are useless as they are bassed on the o2's as they are off at WOT. I would setup the fuel tables in the fuel_ table_ base_ OL area to make A/F changes but only after making sure your changes are correct via a dyno WB or other WB.

Also remember to take out spark when messing with the fuel as its far safer to be alittle soft until you get it dialed in than with a popped HG or piston.

Yeah i make all WOT A/F changes through Fuel_table_base_OL.
