Nice stang and vette

Just wondering, what year is your vette? I'm guessing it's late 70's/early 80's? I have a 75 vette too but it need some work before it's up and running.

thanx for the comments,

very close QUICK91LX, my vette is an 81 (last year of the carb, then in 82 they went with the crossfire injection).

zincyellow03, i modded mine out, i took out the 350 and put in a 454 big block punched 60 over, and I doubt i'll ever stop modding it! i'll post a couple more pics, i know this is a stang forum, so not to get off topic, but I love american muscle. As far as i'm concerned, the corvette and the mustang are the 2 cars that built america

Oh man, nice vette.
I agree that the vette and the stang are the 2 cars that built america.
My vette has some mods to it but I'm not sure what they are because it was my dad's car(well one of them. He crashed them all and the vette was the only survivor). I do know that its rear end have been changed, some really sweet side exhausts(that's kinda why I want to add side exhausts to my stang), and we still need to install some heads to it. Over the summer I'm planning on getting it into working condition. The only problem is that it hasn't been driven in about +/- 20 years. I believe that it still has some 80's gas and oil in it, which is a .
I'll try to put some pictures of it up on my cardomain site when I find some.

The pics work. Nice stang! I think the first thing you should do is change those rims. Got any plans for it? You've worked on the vette, now it's the stang's turn

zinc, btw i like ya horse! i've always loved that color with jet black racing strips! and especially like the old BOSS mustangs. and your wheels are way better than mine! yes the wheels will probably be one of the first things i'll switch out. I want to keep the color scheme of my car black and white. So i'll probably get Black Bullits 17 or 18", body kit, later on find a Ranger rear-end or some 8.8, put a 6-spd tranny in, and either a 427 stroker or a 429/460 BB

the main use of my pony will be for a highway/topend setup. so i'm still doing some heavy research. and i'm just looking to give the engine a comfortable 450-500HP @ the rear wheels.

I think the black/white scheme will look nice. I think you should go with 18 inch deep black bullits. I think those would work out nicely with your car. I'm also planning on getting a new rear end for my stang. My stang is my daily driver so I can't really go with a higher rear end, oh well. 450-500 HP, **** your stang's gonna be quick. If you have the money, try looking at a procharger. Good luck!
