Top redo

So as I was redoing my paint I thought I would check out the vinyl of my top and low and behold they tacked down the rear of the top to a freaken piece of wood. Like time I check untreated wood is a bad idea to get wet. I am now making a Fiber glass shell for my top this is how I made the rear let me know what you guys think.

Believe it or not it is all metal and body filler. I had to tack 1 inch sections at a time be it was worth it. I just got it running again tonight so I hope to have the new photos soon.
