top speed run gone bad

today i hit the road to run a 150 and i was just riding around warmin up catching gears so i hit it so as u know i did it then i stopped at a gas station cuz i started smelling coolant and its coming from above the water pump and from it looks like the lower intake please tell i havent warped or cracked anything and input would be much appreciated

Get this moved to tech... and watch out with the high speed crap. its stupid to do on roads and unsafe. many a friend of these forums lost their life because of something like this... Where exactly is it coming from??? might just be your lower intake gasket.

it looks like the lower intake and it runs down to the water pump and off the sides

Didi you blow a gasket man? not good. let the car cool down and see if the water pump is leaking. hopefully it's only that.

its not the water pump already checked its either my heads or a lower intake gasket i knew i was gonna regret a 150 after i did it
i just need some one to give my and idea before i start pulling it apart

Is your car spitting out coolant? or just leaking? is the car stalling and run like poop? or is it idling okay? let me know. then you can start

its between leaking and spitting it runs down the sides of the motor from up tom it dont look like it leaks that bad but under it its pouring down from the top pretty good and it has a very rough idle

Head gasket. tear it down. it's not that hard. it will take you all day tho. get fel pro head gasket kit from autozone. while you are at it get new intake gaskets from there too also fel pro. Good luck

Thread merged with previous thread in 94-95 Talk. Please go back and edit your first post to add punctuation and remove any discussion of this being done on a public roadway.

And yes, it sounds like a head gasket.

Yeah that's true. How in the world and where did you do 150mph? I can't even do 100 mph over here. but i live in Los Angeles.

But that's why i have 4:10 gears also. LMAO

Yes, which video game was this?

I've done 150 (closed course of course) with 3.73 gears.. along side my buddy's 350Z. Engine RPM was around 5000. I can't imagine what 4.10's are like... Luckily I didn't mess anything up.. Good luck

what all has to come off to get to the head have upper intake off working on valve covers and lower intake and fuel rails
