Making 550rwhp with the modified eaton is going to be the tall order. Remember, regardless of what's done to it, it still only displaces 112ci of air per revolution. 2.2-2.6L twin crews have trouble enough making those numbers, and they're a much larger, more efficient unit.

I'd consider it a success if you topped out somewhere in the 450-500rwhp range and were able to achieve it on pump gas.

Ok, so u thinK it's a stretch for 550..... You might be right. I do run 93 pump gas and I also run a snow performance stage 2 methanol system. I know I need a different controller for the roots setup. Still, I'm at 500rwhp now, but I'm only at 423 rwtq. The torque improvement alone is gonna be awesome. And 500rwhp from a roots is gonna be more violent than my centrifugal. Again I just want decent power to hold me over til the twins are ready.........unless u have a killer deal on a v7-ysi in ur back pocket.

And there's the reason you [probably] aren't going to make 550 rwhp. Your current S-trim, along with a FMIC, is going to be more efficient than any Eaton, and therefore make as much or more power. Cammed 4-valves with a ported Eaton don't often make 550 rwhp. I honestly doubt you'll make 500 rwhp with it, but I could be wrong.

Well with all this nay saying, I definitely second guessing my plan. Ive been watching all there videos from steggy. All these cobras are making 550.560.570 rwhp. Now the heads flow better than my ported pi heads, but still u would think I could hit 500rwhp

Well...it depends on the dyno as well. Could you make 500 rwhp on a nice Dynojet on a cool day with and using an STD correction factor? Oh yea, no problem. Probably 530 or more. Could you do it on the dyno I dyno on with a SAE correction factor? I VERY seriously doubt it. I've seen ported Eaton Cobras making around 475 on the dyno I normally use.

I'm not real familiar with Steigemeyer (sp?), but this reminds me a little of Kenne Bell and their 'advertising'. They say that a BONE STOCK 2-valve will make 405 rwhp with their blower at 9 psi, which is upwards of 50 rwhp more than an 03/04 Cobra. That is absolutely laughable. Sure, you can run an absurd amount of timing, really lean AFR, on a nice Dynojet and STD correction, and make that number. But go back out into the real world with a safe tune on a typical dyno with an SAE correction factor, it it won't come within 50 rwhp of that number. And it certainly won't perform at the track like 405 rwhp should.

Back on your topic. I'm making my prediction solely on your current numbers. You say you are running an S-trim at 16 pounds and making 500 rwhp. I just don't see how you can gain any horsepower by going away from a FMIC and to a less efficient supercharger. But once again, I could be wrong.

One thing's for sure though. That 423 rwtq WILL go up significantly.

I use a dyno jet sae correction. When I tuned my car the weather was less than ideal. The stage 6 STEIGEMEIER is a welded and heavily ported unit. Its a nice setup. Features light weight rotors, and a venom cooler ( custom front drive cooling system, ported/welded opening after the Plenum, and matched ported Plenum. All this for $1500 shipped to my door. Dynobob told me 20psi and upwards of 550rwhp wouldn't be a problem. Guess not huh?.

I actually thought about that yesterday after I posted. If your current setup was done in non-ideal conditions, then it's possible you could make a decent amount more power with better conditions.

Also (as I expected), I see that Stiegemeier is using STD corrected numbers. When corrected to SAE, that 574 rwhp comes down to 545 rwhp.

When it's all said and done, the only way to know is to do it. I'm fairly confident in saying that few (if any) have seen how far you can take an Eaton blown 2-valve. Would definitely be cool to see how far you could take it.

Yup, less than ideal conditions, and I was running out of fuel supply so we cut it off at 6200, I need a boostapump, also I need to get a better tensioner because i had a lil belt slip that you could see on the graph. With the extra 800rpm I'm sure I would have seen some decent additional power. I just looked at a twin turbo kit from Hp performance. I'm liking it. Any experience with it?
