Torn on heads and need some advice....

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

fwiw when i had my heads cleaned it was between 125-175 to have the heads cleaned, decked, valve job, and new valve seals, and freeze plugs.

Thats definately not bad. Now you have to figure when to draw the line with the heads. Spending $200, I can see. Spending $400-500 on them... well at that point is it worth it?

Personally, I spent a little on my E7s, but for me beating up on some HCI cars at the track is worth the money!

Thats a good deal, i had the same thing done around here, minus the valve job and freeze plugs and it was close to 400 bucks, that was a long time ago and i dont think i'd trust my weed wacker with that machine shop

I was really surprised. I thought it was going to be more, but it was rather affordable and they came back looking brand new.
