Torque Box Plates

Here is a dumb question, what are these and where do they go? Pictures would be greatly appreciated. My subframes are comming with a set.

They reinforce where the control arms mount to stop the torque boxes from tearing out (common problem).

Basically, they bolt under the car where the front of your lower control arms connect, and then on the inside under the rear seat area.

Pic is under seat. The extra holes are for right above the control arm.



Top of control arm.



The black bolt is the control arm bolt. Inside torque box.

The extra small plate is something exlusive to my design only. Usually they look like the first pic posted. There is really no way to properly weld the lower plates in, you will never get good pentration. You can weld the top plate in (located under the rear seat)
