I've looked at those quite a few times but I've never seen any feedback good or bad on here or other message boards. I'm going to watch this one and see what other replies there are and I may order a set myself.

I could be wrong, and it wouldn't be the first or last time, but I'd think with this modification, that there would be much difference in name brand or off brand. I mean, essentially, they are just some steel plates and a few welds. But of course, the steel may be mild and the welds could be crap, but I would be afraid to buy off brand IF the savings over name brand is great enough. I'd have them welded in.

Steeda sells torque box reinforcements similiar in design to those (basically just firmer, thicker steel) to cover the weaker areas of the chassis. They come with thier full length subframes. For 120 bucks I'd just say get the subframes with the supports and have it all done at once. It gives the subframes a firmer place to weld to and strengthens the torque boxes at the same time. Car feels totally different with the combo installed.

my friend stephen has those in his fox....they are legit. Good deal too...vendors like that have made the bigger guys stop trying to gouge us on some cheap metal. I think UPR has some too for a good price.

Agreed, it is a very simple install, takes about a hour. You have to drill a few holes in the floor and thats about it.

WIth both the uppers and lowers installed on my 94 I def noticed a tightness and a better feel in driving.

The lowers should and are made to improve your 60ft times. In the torque box area if that LCA mounting hole becomes oval shaped or oblonged you will lose consistency. The reinforcements keep this hole round and tight, at the same time stiffening the torque area and protecting it. IMO it is one of the easiest and benefial mods you can do to your chassis.
