94 5.0 gt convertible trunk relay box

Hey all. My 94 gt battery keeps going dead overnight. I've found when connecting and disconnecting the battery there is a clicking noise in the trunk. It's coming from a relay box in the driver side rear trunk fender well. Does anyone know what the relay box is for. I have not found anything from searching yet and no wiring diagram of it.

Ok pulled it out and it is the remote keylock box. Forgot all about that. But the relay is pulling in and drawing 1.5 amps. The remote still locks and unlocks the doors. Why would a relay be pulling in by itself. This just started happening recently.

Ok the relay still clicks when connecting battery but it's now only .08 amp drain. I've been working on car the last couple weeks and left the trunk open and totally forgot about the light. Been frustrated about the top frame hitting the pass windows and stupidly forgot about light.
I screw myself up a lot too much in old age!!

Brother, I've had the same issue leaving the hood up with under-hood lights that some cars have. Most of the time I just take the bulbs out and put a big LED flashlight in my trunk toolbox. Glad you figured it out! =)
