Those torque box reinforcements are more for the other end of the track. When you get up in speed with slicks on, the back end of the car starts to move back and forth. This back and forth motion causes the lower control arms to act like a wrench pulling back and forth on that bolt that mounts to the body. This is where most of the damage to the torque boxes is done. It deforms the shape of the torque box which leads to other failures.

I had room with my lower boxes for the ABS wire for the most part. I do remember I did move it a tad...maybe 1/4in. If there is a grommet I cut the grommet to slide the wire, if there is no grommet I elongated the hole a tad for more room.

I dont even remember what brand my boxes are, I dont think they are wild rides...I think I picked them up at a WFC from the UPR booth years ago.

thanks for the responses guys.

i'll be using the wild rides boxes.
already enlarged the opening for the lower plate.
drilling a hole is no problem for me,just didnt want to put holes in the plates.
but, that looks to be the best option.

i'll be installing these at the same time i install my 3.73 rear end i just finished.
