torque converter

i just ordered a new torque converter for my 67 mustang. it has a stall of around 2300-2500. how much of a difference will this make from the stock converter? heres what i have
351w
twisted wedge heads
weiand stealth intake manifold
holley 750
comp cams xe 274h
about 9.5 compression
roller rockers
headers with 2.5" exhaust flowmaster 40's
c-4 and 8.8" from an explorer

You should have enough low end torque for this combo to be an improvement. However, it should come in the same time as the cam etc... Not completely familiar with the grind you mentioned...

its a step in the right direction, I might have gone with something closer to 3000 rpm. I guess it depends on how you plan to use the car.

I think that's a good choice for a street car.

If you race it more than "the odd weekend" then you may find that it's not enough... but I think it'll be perfect for street use.
