Yeah a friend of mine had one and couldn't wait for it to snow. It was a ton of fun year round. Then he got an EVO which was more fun until transfer-cases started breaking. Now he has a S2000 all modded out for SCCA racing.

Nice ride, looks well taken care of.... chick I knew had one of the older Suburu's, before the WRX's and that thing hauled azz... we took it to Loon mountain to go skiing...chick scared the chit outta me.... snowy roads and it was on rails....impressive.

Couple dudes at work have those, one Black another Blue. I always check em out.

It may be closed as Mt Washington has snow. Hurricane is crazy, even on a bike its spooky. Drive up the Kangamungus a few miles and bang a right on Bear Notch road....another sweet road not alot of people travel and its fresh hot top from end to end....it's about 12 miles or so and comes out in Bartlett / Glen. Took that few months ago on my bike to cut thru Conway.... you'll love it... all sweepers, hills and such. I was driving a bit and let people get ahead then hammer on it til you catch up...
Lot of those are gated and closed up real quick...

Why? Something that has a smaller engine, makes less power and is it even AWD???

I did some digging and what I can find is that the Maszdaspeed is FWD biased and when it detects wheel slippage it moves power to the rear wheels. Nothing at all like an AWD system and not AWD systems are created the same. Subaru's are known for there very advanced AWD systems. Living in the North East and dealing with Northen Winters you either want 4 wheel drive or true AWD. Anyone that lives in this area can attest to that.

I'm just giving you a hard time. The Subura is actually a quicker car, but not by much. The Speed 3 has 273hp, and it has one of the best all wheel drive systems ever put in a car. Well, according to Clarkson anyway. The big thing for me, is that it has a Ford engine, which will therefore last forever, and it looks a million times better than the Subaru. You can also get it in the midsize Speed6 model, which makes it a whole lot more practical too. Although the 6 doesn't look as sporty as the 3. I'm trying to get the old lady to buy into getting a Speed6 when her old Mitsubishi dies. That car is manic, and there is no problem getting a baby seat in the back in case you forget to pull out in time.

I dont agree with that I think the STI looks much better. Its all a matter of opinion. If I was going to buy a Ford it would have been an F150, either way I dont want to own a Mazda

I actually want to own two Mazdas. That Speed6, and a V8 powered RX7. Tall order for someone who has never owned a Mazda. I have a friend who is into those Subaru STIs. They are always blowing engines on those things. I swear they are worse than rotaries. Could be that they are pushing them too hard though. I do however own an F150. Now that is a great investment.

Its all in how you drive it, you can find someone to say "oh those mustangs are always blowing engines" Its a boxer engine so if the engines suck then I guess porsche sucks too.

You take any engine made from any company and change the oil ever 3,000 miles and it will last along time. Saying " Oh those (insert engine type here) blow all the time" is just ignorant.
