New dizzy - $285
New wires - $50
New coil - $45
New plugs - $20
$3 can of throttle body cleaner solving your engine troubles - priceless

I cant believe it was so simple. I just cleaned my MAF and all this black crap came spewing out. I bolted that bad boy back in and my car runs Be-utifuly. I swear the first time I fired it up, it started when I barely turned the key half way. 3 months of misery finally over. Praise the Lord!!!

Nice. I dont sweat seeing guys toss some money at that stuff - folks do it voluntarily anyhow (nice shiny dizzies, MSD coils, and so on........). And now you know you're good to go. Those are all wear items that would have needed replacement sooner or later, and now you have spares should they be needed.

Glad to hear it runs well!

I read somewhere that our stock MAF's are 75mm. Is this true? I have no idea where else to start modding, besides exhaust, Im saving for that already. And no H\C\I yet. I was thinking throttle body or something but Im not quite sure which direction to go.

I'm not sure if our maf are 75mm, but they are a lot bigger than the fox mafs. I just switched one out, what a difference.

Thanks Mystery. I dont remember where I read about them being 75mm. Glad you set me straight.

By the way, those of you with the Pro-M MAF's where did you buy them? Ive tried looking them up but can find 'em. Is it Professional Mass something? I think I saw them at 50resto but not sure. I found a link to what looks like the main site but it never loads. Thanks.

I believe that Pro-M now equates to PMAS.

Good luck.
