Well, I finally got around to hiding my main wiring harness and taking out my washer reservoir. I'm almost done...just a few random things to hook up/secure. Anyway, I was looking at the engine bay.....and realized it looked even messier because the dust/dirt accumulated around those areas. So, I'm going to paint it tomorrow.

anyhow I have a question for y'all (as I'm a newb when it comes to metals): To make a quick fender cover (engine bay side) would it be possible to use sheet aluminum with pop rivets. This wouldn't be anything final...just a quick touch up type of deal. Home depot sells the stuff....and I don't have access to a welder, so I figured my best bet would be rivets. Ideas?

I was also thinking about taking the AC out last week......but decided not to. Well, somehow or another one of my hardlines messed up and freon went all over the side of my radiator. Sooooo, I'll be taking that out here soon as well.

Personally, I would just wait and do it the right way. Although it would be interesting to see what your end result is. I guess if you keep the cost down then it's worth a shot. Good Luck
