Time change, and so do most people but at a slower rate.

My mother always told me that she knew when Japanese cars came into there own when her father and several of his friends (all WW2 Navy Vets) bought Japanese cars.

She also told me that the reason her first new car was a toyota was not for the MPG or cost or reliabilty (this was the mid 70',s they hadn't gotten those reps yet) but because all the american car dealers kept trying to sell her cars she didn't want.

She was asking for a manual, with radial tires, and an FM radio. American dealers tried to sell her automatics with A/C and such. Toyota dealer was like "Is brown ok?" He even tought her how to drive it.
