Hey all, purchased my first Mustang approx. 1 month ago (2014 GT). I replaced the tires and the TPMS sensors with a local tire store (Discount Tire) and I have been having issues ever since. For what ever reason the TPMS refuses to learn to the car. We have tried 4 or 5 different brands of TPMS sensors including OEM and still can not get it to learn. I have been to 2 local Ford dealers trying to see if they had better luck and its the same story, though 1 dealer told me that the BCM was working correctly. The tire store was able to pull a list of codes that ive included here. Is there some magic secret that I am unaware of? Could this potentially be because there is a tune on the car? TIA as I am brand new to Mustangs

A tune should not have anything to do with it.
Any device plugged into your OBDII port?
That can cause interference.
Also, the fact that two Ford Dealerships said they could not find the problem is amazing.
They are not even trying if that is the case.

Where did you get the sensors from?

I would try a tire store. Reason: They deal with all makes and models and replace TPMS sensors all the time. I recently had this done on my Cadillac and I watched him going from sensor to sensor, getting my 4 new TPMS sensor to synchronize with the computer.

I purchased the TPMS sensors from the Discount Tire shop, since they have been very helpful and attmepted to swap them 5 or 6 times. Even purchasing Motorcraft TPMS from a local Ford Dealer

There is a specific order in setting the sensors ,had to do it on the Trans Am ,they would not set until I went in the correct order . It's been a while so I don't remember the exact order . I had to buy a scanner that had the sensor reset also
I just looked it up and Discount Tire was doing it in the correct order. Front Driver, Front Passenger, Rear Passenger, Rear Driver

I replaced my TPMS sensors in my 2012 F150 with new Schauders when I put new Toyo MTs on a set of Raptor rims I bought. And had them mounted at the shop I work. TPMS light stayed clear for like 60 miles. Then came on. They had to reprogram the sensors to the truck again, didn't take the first time. Tech had to do it like 5 times until it finally worked. He asked the more senior tech that did my last ones who told him just keep trying until it takes. My last set of TPMS were Schuaders too.
