Ive tried and tried and tried to be patient but the damn thing wont unscrew, any "easy" way to unscrew the screws? the top one seems like it might be stripped if i keep trying, so any ideas?

edit: or can i just go to nearby auto store and buy a new one and use that on my new TB?

yeah those have a loc-tight like paste they put on them to seal. Lots of people hear recomend taking it to a shop if you dont have a grinder and grinding off the heads and sliding it off. What i did was take off the plenum w/ it and used a hacksaw the saw down on the head in the direction of the bolt making a very deep channel about just to where the head meets the bolt. Then a used a good sized thin flat head to turn it. Way more leverage this way and came right out after some strong turns

just dont saw TOO far down or you'll break off one side of the head of the bolt when turning, but i went pretty far down and had no probs.
Also i put the plenum in a vice while cutting a channel.
