cannot get the tps to read.89 or .90...the damn thng sits at 4.97-4.98 no matter how far its clocked! any suggestions?? thanks

Are you holding the pedal wide open?? If not sounds like the TPS might be shot out. Those readings are for wide open throttle..

yes those readings are WOT and no matter where it clocked @ (attachment holes are oblonged) best it reads on the ohm meter is 4.97-4.98

When setting it don't hold it wide open, set it like the car is at idle..

yeah dude, set it while the car is idling and some people say to set it at .99 and not go over one...5.0 mag even said that, but then some say (Probst, apparently) that as long as it's between like .6 and 1.5, you're cool, so I guess just go whichever way you want, but .99 is between .6 and 1.5 so
