I have a trac loc 28 spline 9" rear end and the shop that is installing my G-bar rear is concerned that I am going to blow it up. I have a blown small block that is putting out 402 rwhp and 414 rwtq. Should I be worried? They are recommending purchasing a different type of posi that does not have clutches and stepping up to 31 spline axles. What do you guys think? Should I bite the bullet now or take a gamble with what I have?
The big worry I have is not blowing up the 3rd member but if it hurt the housing when she blows. I will have brackets welded on for the G-bar suspension and it would be a pain to transfer that over to the new rear housing.

Make a profit and you don't have to do anything. Sounds pretty tempting doesn't it. Or how about cash and exchange you for my T5 with new seals, tail housing bushing and new steel bearing retainer.
