Figured it dont matter which section because all Trac Loks for the 8.8 are the same.
I just got this freshly rebuilt Trac Lok for a good deal and when I opened it up I realized it does not have the pinion shaft that holds the pinion gears in place nor the bolts that lock it down. I have an open diff now so am I supposed to use the pinion shaft from that? If not, where can I buy one? I circled the hole and the gears its supposed to go through just so I am clear for everyone.
Thanks all.

that piece is the same in all of them. its a metal rod that keeps the axles from moving inward and the c clips from falling off.

So I can just use the pinion shaft and retaining screw from my open diff right?
