well i kinda figured my track loc took a dump cuz im only burning 1 tire, so i was wondering since im changing to some 3.73s should i buy a rebuilt kit for the track loc or go with a brand new one? possibly aftermarket? one thing i didnt like about my track loc *maybe cuz it wasnt working right* is as soon as the car turned just a little bit it would go back to 1 wheel...terrible for doughnuts...so i was wondering whats a step up, aside from like a spool..dont want something like that...
thank you,
Brandon

I would just rebuild it if I were you. I rebuilt mine and its pretty easy. The worst part is that you have to deal with the old gear oil which can smell pretty nasty. The rebuild kit cost between $40 and $50 depending on where you get it and lots of guys swap the stock "s" spring out for once from an f-150

Look at this thread: http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=669705&highlight=truetrac

So far it looks like the best solution. Soon as I get the money together it's what I'm getting.

If you find any other info on it please share.
