I noticed today my traction control won't come on in my 2000 GT. I checked fuse #5 and it's OK. I just put brakes on so I guess I could have knocked a sensor wire off so I have to check that. I also was into my console installing a SpeedCal so I need to check that. I just wondered if anybody had any other ideas?

Have you gotten a chip recently? Some companies shut the TC off with the chip.

Sounds like an ABS concern if you just did brakes. ABS and Traction control are linked toghter If you lost a speed signal from any of the wheels Traction control will not work. Check for a chunk or rust on any of the sensors from removing rotors. this can mess with the signal.

Traction control switch went out on our 2000 gt. The default is on though. The switch is $25 from ford.
