traction lok problem

local speed shop suggests going to synthetic fluid (red line 75w90ns) without friction modifiier in order to cure poor traction lok performance. will this work?

Please define "poor track loc performance" please. One wheel peel? Clutch chatter? You do not need the modifier with syn fluid. Mike

Spend $80 bucks for the kit and rebuild it,

Does sound like a band aid. If you are at all mechanically inclined, just repack the clutches yourself. Doesn't cost that much for the kit.
