Traction

I just put on some HPM megabite Jr lower control arms and Steeda HD adjustable upper control arms with my 4.10 gears, and I have no real traction problems. The car really hooks good now even on the street. I am sure your supercharger can still over power the tires, but so far my setup seems to be giving me a noticable increase in traction over stock.

i was gonna get that kit , but decided to go thru dallas mustang and got the vortech kit for 100 bucks more because it looks to be easier to upgrade down the road , but let me know what kind of numbers you get out of it , i would like to see how they stack up , i should be getting mine tuned next week .

What kind of #'s are you expecting.

if i can get 350 rwhp and just as much or better torque , hopefully alot more torque ill be happy since i dont have a TB or plenum , and using the stock 02 mass air meter which is 85 mm but drawback is it has the air inlet temp sensor made in it , so i cant mount that between the blower and the motor , hopefully the tuner can adjust for that

I hope to get around 350-360. I already have:
Long tubes
O/R x-pipe
borla cat-back
plasma booster
accufab plenum
70mm tb

Where are you located and where are you getting yours tuned , or are you going to run the chip they give you ? Im currently running vortechs but not for long .

The Vortech/Superchips tune is alright i have it on my 98 cobra but the probably really is that they give you the FMU and if you start to lean out at all that thing just dumps fuel into the motor giving you a WAY rich mixture. I am saving $ now to get my car dyno tuned. W/ my mods I am expecting to get around 35 RWHP out of this tune but I have seen peope get 50-70+ depending how extensive they're mods were. Never knew how dyno tuning really helped that much, now I cant wait to get her on the dyno :nice:

mines the 99 and newer GT , doesnt have the FMU , just has bigger injectors , bigger in tank pump and chip to run everything , seems to be running great so far , no detonation what so ever , but its hella slower when warm , dont know if that is just the characteristics of not having an intercooler , but seems to me like it should be faster when completely warmed up .
