Well it's come time for me to decide. The stang is an auto 2000 GT perf red, cloth interior, only mods are K&N and Eibach pro-kit, brand new torque convertor and rebuilt tranny, 84,000km im third owner.
paid $16,500cdn last year then tranny went so 4000 and 400 for springs. (guy before me bagged the **** out of this car, didn't think he would since he seemed like a mature 28ish year old guy)

Im thinking of trading it in for a 2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS. Fully loaded with sunroof, silver with black interior, 5 speed, 2 door(last year of the coupes), 1 owner, 73,500 km. $17,000cdn

Now the only reason im thinking of doing this is because I can't drive the stang in winter (6-7 months out of the year its winter here) and being a student gas is a little expensive (dont get me wrong i've never complained about gas) but i would have more money to mod. I originally wanted to buy this 2001 black 2.5RS before i bought the stang but the dealership wouldn't let me take it, the guy quoted me 14,500 for it, and then i asked again and the guy said no less than 19,000, plus it looked like it had been in a flood so i said no to that one, and then i found the stang. I dont know... i love my stang but i would love the Subaru, I've never owned an import and have had 2 stangs, your thoughts?

Just not with those rims, with the stock 7? spoke rims.

It's not A bad car, but for that price range I whould go with a wrx or something like that. I'am thinking about trading my stang as well for a 96 impala ss dont know if I will do it, I whould like to keep my car and have the ss.

Well the WRX has 4 doors and the cheapest i can find is 23,000. (for an 02 with 85,000km)

I've decided im probably going to keep the stang for at least a couple more years, hopefully i can pick up a cheaper Subaru for winter in the next few years.

My ex had an 00 RS, a great car, but it has no balls, if you go scooby, atleast get the WRX. But then again you get to pay premium gas prices

Those RS's can handle ridiculously well. And be really fast, too. Like really scary.

Gotta do what you gotta do bud. You live in Canada so you have to decide whats best for your lifestlye. Personaly I'd go with the all wheel drive if it was me, the Mustang is better suited as a summer/weekend car in cold weather climates...
