What would be better to re-build a trak-lok with going with the 4 clutch change when using factory gt clutches or the 3 clutch standard carbon fiber clutches on the cobra diffs? And JIC what i mean by 4 clutch change is when people rebuild the gt trak-loks and dump 2 shims to add an extra clutch on each side of the spider gears.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

I've heard it go either way. Personally, my original trak lok went over 100,000 miles, and I've been cutting 1.6 short times on slicks. I think the stock setup works fine.

The carbon fiber clutch packs cost more but last longer, so it really depends if you want to spend more now and replace them less often or spend less now and replace them more often
