tranny drop

is it hard to drop a tranny with just a good old regular floar jack?

I'd imagine it would be a royal PITA. I always found personally though that it's more difficult putting it back in that getting it out.

yeah i had to drop mine twice with floor jack and gettign it out is easy puttin it back in is the hard part.. get ready to spend a good day working on it

yup thats true it more of a pita to get it back on than taking it out

Yeah like I said I would imagine it would be a complete PITA. I'm really not sure how it would be with a jack and jack stands. I had the luxury of a lift, tranny jack and air tools. Start to finish I was done in 4hrs.

you just have to get the car high enough to be able to get the tranny out but just because its a pita dosent mean it's not doable

not too bad. Make sure you have straps that you can strap trans to jack. and make sure to have 13mm 6points deep socket, and your fine.
