I have a 98 Cobra with 65,000 miles. I bought it 3 mos ago. My problem is every once in a while it will grind from 1 to 2 at high rpm. and reverse is always a pain. My clutch is toast right now. I have a King Cobra 10 1/2 inch clutch sitting in my garage waiting to be installed this weekend. I have about $1000 dollars to spend on some goodies. I was planning on 4.10 gears, shifter, and some other small items. Here's my problem should I rebuild the tranny or can I get away with just putting in some synthetic fluid. My brain is telling me to fix the tranny with the money, but my right foot is telling me it can wait. Any help appreciated.
