Tranny Help!

I think i read in another post that you bought a tremec correct, if so you have to buy another clutch, another bell (unless you got one with the tranny) and depending on the year the bell is for a DS spacer, you do know that the input shaft and such is diff on the the tremecs right

well I had to took the tremec off to change out the flywheel (wrong oz). It fits perfectly fine when WE put in the first time. Now Im doing it by myself with 4 jackstands and 1 jack its kinda difficult. If I have an extra hand I wouldn't be posting this but PLEASEEEEEE HELP!

The extra hand is important. How far do you have it in? If it's just the last little bit it won't go, then it's probably because the clutch got pushed out of alignment while you were manhandling the tranny into place. That's when it's really handy to have someone release the clutch a tiny bit to let the tranny slide the rest of the way in.

Sounds like you're having a good time. My brother has done the tranny on his '90 LX a couple of times solo, but I personally wouldn't try it (at least, not without an actual tranny jack instead of a regular floor jack). You have to get good at using your legs to work the jack while you stabilize the tranny and guide it into the hole... :D
