I'm trying to hook a v-matic 2 to my tranny and i need to hook my neutral safety switch and back up light assembly to it...any ideas where these are located? I have a c-4 in a '67 mustang.

Eon, I can not help you as my stuff is manual. Hang in there and someone from the group will come to the rescue.

As someone said yesterday: "there are no stupid questions at StangNet, only stupid answers".

The C-4 has a 4 wire wiring harness running from it on the driver's side. 2 of them are the backup lights, 2 are the neutral start switch. No way to tell which two unless you can look up a wiring diagram that says which colors are what.

Well, couldn't i just try hooking up two to the back up light plugs on the shifter and just guess and check that way or would something short out?
