tranny issues...help!

alright, first thing, when im in third gear at about 3k rpm there seems to be some vibration that i can feel in my right foot ( through the floor ) and it gets more apparent the higher the rpm go. second thing is i was driving my car tonight i shifted from first to second at about 3500, i shifted kinda hard, but i punched it in second and it popped out of gear. what would cause this? is my tranny/clutch still ok??

The second gear thing could be from the gears not being engaged completely or just from the transmission being really tired....

bent shift fork for the second gear popping out.

hmm, its the first time the car has done it. the tranny is only about a year old. anything i can check for before i completely tear the tranny out of the car?

thats really all you can do to figure out whats wrong with it. the clutch wouldnt cause it to jump out of gear. heres a little thing i typed up about tranny problems and what causes them.

would loose tranny to bellhousing bolts cause it?

If it's a one-time thing i wouldn't worry about it.

Just be warned if it starts happening again it may be a problem

alright, ill get under there tonight and check the bolts and tranny fluid. another thing, how do i adjust my clutch cable?

Driveshaft out of alignment?.. If you took the DS out when you redid the tranny I heard it can cause vibration if you don't install the driveshaft using the same hole to mount the DS to the rear... How are you'r motormounts/ trannymounts?.. JUST THROWING SUGGESTIONS OUT.. sometimes it may start out as you think its one thing and it may not be that at all. Loost bolts or missing bolts will cause vibration also obviously Popping out of gear.. if its a 1 time thing then I wouldn't worry about it like M5L5 said..Maybe you just didnt put it in gear all the way..
