Well my problem started a few days ago which got me to finally join this site after much research.
Whining and chirpping Started the other morning upon first starting the car. When pressing the clutch pedal it went away and came back after depressing the clutch.
The sound went away after 10 minutes or so of driving.
(Thought may be the TOB) (drained and changed the fluid also)
Yesterday the noise came back only when its first started, but now the sound was constant but when pressing the clucth it became quieter.
Now this morning i went to start it, and the car wouldn't start the first time, it'd make a loud whoosing\ light grinding noise, but then I'd try again and it started right up. Now its doing this all the time and when first started in the morning (15 degrees F today) it made a loud vacuum cleaner noise for like 5 minutes.
No idea what this could be.
Ended up ordering a new TOB, clutch and flywheel just in case.
