I have a 91 GT with a 302 bored and stroked to a 331, i keep breaking trannys and was thinking of going to a top loader four speed out of an old cobra or fairlane, My question is would the top loader bolt up to my current bell-housing for a t-5, and does anyone know if or what other mods would i have to do?? Also does anyone know what the top speed of the four speed is? currently I cross the 1/4 @ 112 off the 175 shot of nos i plan on using. I am worried with the four speed i might run out of gearing when i use nos.
