Alright first let me explain that I am not a mechanical idiot. I do know what I am doing. That being said let me explain exactly what it is that I am doing. Yesterday I fried my auto tranny in my '88 LX 2.3. All I have left is reverse, I blew the front pump. All that is irrelevant. I have a manual tranny that came out of a Fox 2.3, year unknown, I also have the entire car, sans engine. T'marra I will be pulling the pedal linkage, clutch quadrant cable and shifter/boot assembly. I have the clutch, pressure plate, flywheel and throwout bearing. I will also be snagging the crossmember so as to avoid any surprises. I have not done an Auto to Manual swap before. I have done the opposite before. If anyone has done this before and has some advice on what to avoid and anything I might need to do extra, please let me know. If anyone knows of a walkthrough that would be marvelous. Thank you guys in advance.
