I was headed home from eating out, got on it hard....1st.....2nd.....went to third and it felt kind of soft. So I pulled it out and went to put it back in....and there was nothing there. I broke the middle fork on 3rd and 4th.

Anyone know where to get replacement forks?

What brought it on? I don't really know. I know that over the past year when I'd speed shift (while having full use of the clutch) everynowandthen it would stick going into 3rd. Like it would lodge in the gate. The clutch would chatter until I pulled (hard) to get it out. Then it would engage like normal.

So the gears are on hold since my install money is going to fixing the tranny.

Be careful out there and make sure your stop bolts are set correctly on those aftermarket shifters. I have a Pro 5.0 and the stop bolts would walk on me from time to time. So this must have happened during one of the infamous walkabouts. (shrug) Next time I'm tack welding them in place.

Considering I have $350 to my name right now, and that was for the gear install....I'm leaning towards stock replacement.

That's still more than I want to spend. I'm just going to replace the actual broken fork. $70 part and some labor.
