trans assembly Q

the slider part of the 3rd/4th synchro assembly has more of a bevel on one side than the other in my t5. i forgot which side faces the front of the transmission. please help. im very close to putting the thing together

the bevil goes to the imput shaft end of the case, i have a rebuild manual in adobe format i could send you if you want to just check things out.

thanks, thats what i did. its all together now except the tail shaft housing. i didnt get the speed gears yet. i already had a manual downloaded from tremec but the picture was crappy and it didnt say how to put it on other than "the same way it came off."

cool man, are you changing the drive gear on the output shaft for gears or something, if you don't have a stock gear i could send you one instead of buying one. But you can get whatever you need at a local tranny parts store, they will probably have what you need in stock

we're putting 3.73s in it almost immediately after the trans gets put in. i drove all over saterday and most places said they could order it. others said they wont even bother. how much does the drive gear usually cost? the last time i bought a driven, i think it was like ten bucks.

the drive gears are like 10$, have you went to the hanlon motorsports speedo calculation page yet it will tell you what drive and driven gears to get. I changed my drive gear to a black 10 tooth gear and my driven was a 19 tooth gear which is what i needed so i left it alone
