Trans Cooler

I will be installing a trans cooler on my stang. I will be putting on a cooler that has its own fan. My question is will i have any problems with this? How much fluid should it hold now?

I don't think you need that big of a trans cooler unless you're planning on going with a huge stall with lots of power being fed through it. I have a 17,000 lb GVWR auxiliary trans cooler plumbed in series with the factory in-radiator cooler, and my trans temps are borderline too cold.

My converter builder recomended a 40,000 GVW cooler for my set up. (4,000 rpm stall)

the only reason i will be using it is because i bought it for another vehicle and never used it. Do you think if i dont hook up the fan the temps will be ok?
