Hi, Father recently installed a C6 in his 1969 Mustang Grande in place if the FMX trans. He put 6 quarts of fluid in, fired it up, added 2 more quarts and let it idle for 10-15 minutes. He drove it just over a half mile, and it poured fluid out from in between the trans and the engine. It is definitely coming from behind the torque converter, we fired it up for a second on the lift and it poured a river of atf on the floor after maybe 5 seconds of running. We have no ideas on what could have happened. He also installed an in line cooler in addition to the factory cooler in the radiator. Torque converter had a 1/16” gap between it and the flex plate when he put in the trans, and it pulled up to the flex plate no issue. Thanks in advance.
